SCi completes transition to Eidos
Bid conjecture continues
SCi Entertainment have concluded their transition to becoming officially known as Eidos, and will confirm the official date for the final 'hand over' soon.
SCi is the company's stock market name, but Eidos has been the firm's more prominent publishing brand since the company acquired the Tomb Raider maker a couple of years back.
The name change comes as part of moves which have seen the publisher lose 25% of its staff and axe over a dozen game projects.
Speculation remains rife over the future of the firm, with Warner Bros having built up a sizable stake, while EA and Ubisoft have also been involved in take-over talks.
